Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: September 2026 — plain-language explanation of how AIInfoHub makes money.

AIInfoHub is free to use, and we intend to keep it that way. To fund the site, we earn money in three ways. This page explains each one honestly — because you deserve to know exactly how the business works.

1. Affiliate Links — How They Work

Many of the "Visit Tool" buttons on this site are affiliate links. Here's what that means in practice:

  • When you click one and then sign up or purchase on the tool vendor's website, the vendor may pay us a commission.
  • It costs you nothing extra. You pay the vendor's normal price; the commission comes out of the vendor's pocket, not yours.
  • Affiliate tracking typically works via a cookie that lasts 30–90 days (it varies by program), so if you sign up within that window after clicking, the sale may be attributed to us.
  • We only ever see that a referral happened — we never see your account details, password or payment information on the vendor's site.

2. How Affiliate Content Is Labeled

You'll always be able to tell when money is involved:

  • Tool cards and tool pages with affiliate links carry a visible Affiliate badge.
  • Paid or sponsored listings carry a visible Sponsored badge and are labeled as sponsored wherever they appear.
  • This disclosure page is linked in the footer of every page on the site.

3. Sponsored Placements

From time to time, a company may pay for enhanced visibility — for example a featured position in the tools directory. Sponsored placements are always labeled as such, are visually separated from editorial rankings, and never affect our ratings, review scores or comparison verdicts. A sponsored badge means "this company paid for placement", never "we recommend this".

4. Advertising

We may display display advertising (such as Google AdSense) in designated placements. Advertisers don't influence our editorial content, and ad placements are managed separately from the editorial team.

5. Our Independence Promise

This is the important part. Affiliate commissions and sponsorships fund the site, but they do not buy opinions:

  • Ratings and verdicts are earned, not sold. Every review and comparison follows published evaluation criteria — features, pricing fairness, ease of use, performance and real-world usefulness.
  • We list tools we don't earn from. Plenty of excellent free and open-source tools on this site pay us nothing, and they're listed and rated on merit alone.
  • We publish criticism. Our reviews include cons, limitations and "who should skip this" sections — including for tools whose affiliate programs we participate in.
  • Rankings can't be purchased. No amount of affiliate commission moves a tool up in our comparisons or "best of" content.

If we ever get this wrong, call us out — reader trust is the only asset this site has.

6. Programs We Participate In

We may participate in affiliate programs run directly by AI tool vendors as well as affiliate networks. The specific programs change over time; rather than maintaining a list that goes stale, we label every affiliate link individually with the Affiliate badge so you always know at the point of clicking.
